Elder Tracy's Letter 10/09
So this week could be my last week here in Jardim Palmira. I'm about ready for it too. lol You get very sick of the same scenery every day. and me who likes change its even harder. but i loved the time i spent here. The Lord blessed us with so much success. This Sunday we had more 2 baptisms. Crys and Thiago. The 2 kids of the family that were trying to marry. No one is married here. Its so ridiculous!!! lol We have 2 families though that were in the process of to marry them. They were very sad to know that i could leave now cause they wanted me at there wedding but its okay.
I love to love the work. When we have good people to teach it makes the work amazing! This next week we have more 3 baptisms so we are very happy. Me and my comp are pumped. He is a cool kid, we are working very well together. He is a little know-it-all but he's new on the mission. He will be humbled.:) I feel that that is one of the traits I've worked most on. Humility is so important. I still think about the scripture (Alma 26:12) I know that I'm just here in the Lords hands. While I follow his guidance we are led to His Elect. I loved the comment by, I think, Elder Bednar, he said that the Lord doesn't expect us to be perfect but that we are on the pathway to Perfection. I know that I will never be perfect but I can do my part to be on this pathway to perfection. I love how the gospel is our manual. We can know everything we need to be happy following the will of the Lord. Tonight I will get knowing about transfers and if i will be transferred. So next week I'll probably be writing from my new area. I will also get my package tomorrow. They called me and told me that it arrived. So thank so much. I'm very excited for that!! Family thanks for your letters. I love you all so much and hope that all is well with you and that you too are doing your part to be as The Lord wants us. You are all so important to me and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for have you in my life. Have a great week family!!
Love you all!!!! Tchau!!!Love Elder Tracy

It's Great that Elle's 8!!
I can't believe that my precious little angel is 8. I remember Landon trying to figure out if he would be here or on his mission when she would be baptized. He wanted so desperately to baptize his baby sister. Little did he know that he would be involved in a baptism in Brazil while Blake was having the opportunity to baptize Elle. It was a beautiful day. Blake baptized her and Lex did the confirmation. Emily spoke on Baptism and Melissa shared her feelings on the Holy Ghost. Our friend, Debi Brockbank sang, "Jesus was No Ordinary Man" and we played the dvd, "Reflections of Christ" while Elle was changing her clothes. Elle sang a beautifully and I even accompanied her. My momma was so happy. All of those piano lessons gone to waste! We loved having many of our friends and family to enjoy the day with us. Mom did her traditional scone party. Elle had a beautiful experience which confirmed that 8 is a great age to be baptized. She does understand and she has already felt the spirit speak to her. We love our Elle as she blesses our family each day. I'm sure that she would have preferred to come with the others and so she would have playmates. She does have to grow up in our adult world but I'm not sure what we would do without her. She is truly as Landon once stated, "our gift from God". We love you Elle!

Elle's 8th Birthday....A Spa Party!!!!
Ashlen Allred was so sweet to be our "pamperer." She did facials and pedicures. Kadee Rolfe did manicures and Sadee Dolbin helped them make lotion. They had pizza (China and all), spa music, masks and a really fun goodie bag with lots of girlie stuff!! I'm pretty sure that they had a great time. Ashlen was amazing!

Elle Takes the Stage....
We discovered a hidden talent of Elle's as she took the stage at Draper Theater for two shows. Wizard of Oz through the summer and she played "Tessie", better known as the "oh my goodness" orphan. We knew that she could sing and thought that it would be a great experience for her. Little did we know that she was quite an actress! She made many new friends and didn't like it much when she was on her off night and didn't have one of the lead orphan parts. Who knew? We thought she was shy but apparently not!! She loved it and is excited to try out for some more plays after her mom recovers from two straight shows. We loved watching her and couldn't help think how much Landon would have enjoyed her shows. Acting has always been one of his loves. Maybe they can do a show together some day after he gets home. We were proud of our Elle!!
Girls Gone Wild!!!.... Family Girls Trip Summer 09
Mom, Angie, Melissa, Kim, Caroline, KileyTrudy, Cris, Emily, Mckenna, Laura and Jessica

Why sleep in a bed when you can all sleep together on the floor.....
Not to fear, not that wild, just a little shower with the bathing suits after their swim
See what I mean about "girls gone wild"?????

The girls needed a break! Laura & Jason were moving to Arizona to begin Law School and so they decided it would be a great going away party for Laura. We rented a condo in Park City. It would be a very short stay (overnight) but you would have thought they were going on a 7 day cruise. Kiley and Mckenna even came from California. Jessica and Cris arrived first to check out the place since it was a last minute reservation. They were sure to call us and tell us how scary it was but we would be fine, it was just overnight. When our car pulled in with several of the other girls, the screaming began. They were literally yelling and jumping and screaming with excitement. The boys had all of the babies and the girls had "gone wild" for a day and a night. It was so cute to watch. Melissa, however, felt bad for the husbands and the babies and threatened to tell the babies how excited that they were to leave them when they got old enough to understand!! She was a bit nervous for her cousins and sister-in-law but I'm sure she will understand someday when she is married with children! It was a great time and one of the highlights was when we walked in the condo and it was really nice!! Whew!! There were several bedrooms but everyone chose to be together, talking, playing games and bonding. That they did, all night long. No sleep that night for the "mom's gone wild." Oh, except my mom. She was happy to have a room all to herself with an empty bed. Fun times and a new tradition to add to the Williams' many!!
